**Review NTBC Bylaws & Standing Rules for Complete Duties**

PRESIDENT
Preside at chapter and Board of Directors meetings; appoint chairmen of committees; appoint the Financial Review Committee; call special meetings of the Board of Directors; countersign checks drawn on chapter funds; endeavor to serve the Chapter in a strictly impartial manner; keep the members informed as to official communications; be bonded and coordinate chapter strategic planning.

VICE PRESIDENT
In the absence of the President, serve as presiding officer at meetings of the Chapter or Board of Directors; in the event of a vacancy in the office of President, succeed to the office for the unexpired term; arrange programs for the chapter meetings.
 
SECRETARY
Be responsible for the minutes of chapter and Board of Directors meetings; 
maintain an up-to-date listing of all Chapter Committees; conduct correspondence of the Chapter; preside at chapter and Board meetings in the absence of the President and Vice President; keep a record of members interested in employment positions available; Chair the Bylaws & Standing Rules Committee.

TREASURER
Be responsible for all funds, records and reports of the Chapter's financial affairs; maintain an accurate record of Chapter membership; pay approved requests; deposit all funds; present a proposed budget and a mid-year budget review; maintain attendance records.

Standing Committees

BYLAWS & STANDING RULES
Maintain Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules in conformity with the International and Division Bylaws and Standing Rules; propose and/or receive suggestions for amendments and submit for action by the membership; submit amendments to the Division Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee for approval; b
e responsible for printing and distributing copies of the Bylaws and Standing Rules to the membership.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Review the chapter financial records after the close of the fiscal year; transfer reviewed books to the incumbent Treasurer; in the event of a vacancy in the office of Treasurer, review the Chapter financial records before transfer.


MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Responsible for recruiting and retaining members for the chapter; keep a list of all members and prospect contact information; attend chapter meetings to welcome visitors and introduce them to the chapter members; obtain contact information from all visitors for follow-up.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Obtain at least one candidate for each office; obtain the consent of the candidates to serve if elected; and p
ublish the candidates’ names and IAAP background to the membership at least one month prior to the Annual Meeting (May).

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Find ways to bring revenue into the chapter through various fundraising ideas; handle all promotion, coordination, and collection of all Fundraising events; co
ordinate the collection of all money through the Chapter Treasurer for proper deposit into the chapter account.

NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE
Prepare and distribute the official monthly publication by email, to be received by the membership the Monday following the monthly Chapter Board of Directors Meeting. 

PROGRAMS COMMITTEE
Arrange the education programs for monthly chapter meetings; apply for recertification points from IAAP headquarters Certification Department; provide recertification point document to all certified members and guests attending; a
ssist in planning and coordinating of annual member recruitment event.

WEBMASTER
Responsible for creating and updating the official website for the chapter.
